Allie Elkin will be teaching us how to make her homemade pizza crust and all the fixings. Come join us for a special evening at Cowboy's Kitchens in the Township in Ridgeland. Appetizer and dessert included.

Allie Elkin – “If they say that necessity is the mother of invention then that is certainly true for how I got started making homemade pizza. Our family moved to Madison County about 10 years ago. We had previously started a tradition of “Friday night pizza” so imagine my dismay when I discovered pizza deliver didn’t exist at Lake Lorman! As bread making had always been one of my loves, I decided that we would just make our own pizza. What began as a way to continue to feed my family what they had grown accustom to, has now become a tradition with family and friends. “Friday Night Pizza” at the Elkin house was an opportunity for my 4 daughters to gather friends at for both food and fellowship in our home. My husband, David, and I love to have our kitchen island surrounded by friends listening to the noise level rise. Give even the most unseasoned cook a ball of dough and a choice of ingredients and watch the magic happen! Food is my love language and the kitchen is my happy place, so pizza making has become an integral part of life in the Elkin home. I look forward to sharing how a simple combination of flour, yeast, and water can create something that nourishes both the body and soul.”
